Alison McMorland in 1972 in association with Yorkshire Arts Association.
PASS IT ON traces the role and function of traditional songs and games experienced in childhood. Set in Yorkshire the film initially portrays the child's early years at home, going to school and playing in the school playground. It progresses to other play spaces. The girls in street games and skipping whilst the boys play football
on waste ground mirroring the adult world in their chants supporting Leeds United and Billy Bremner.
